Course Objectives

To acquaint students with the management practices, principles, processes, tools, and techniques required to handle any real-world project.

Course Description

Using project management processes, tools and techniques puts in place a sound foundation for organizations to achieve their goals and objectives. A project may be managed as a stand-alone project, within a program or within a portfolio. The course discusses project management principles, the different project performance domains (development approach and lifecycle, project work, delivery, measurement, uncertainty). It further discusses the tailoring process and the tailoring performance domain as well as the models, methods and artifacts involved in project management.
