The Senate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki defined the Institution’s Quality Policy as follows:

  1. Continuous quality improvement in education and research
  2. Continuous improvement of the quality of AUTH's processes and services
  3. Continuous improvement of working conditions and quality of life at AUTH
  4. Transparency at all levels
  5. Eminence in society, in the state, but also in the international scientific
    community of the work carried out at AUTH.

Our Quality Policy mainly supports:

  • the organization of the internal quality assurance system
  • the assumption of responsibilities by the leadership of the Institution, Departments and other units, staff members and students, as well as their role in quality assurance
  • safeguarding academic principles, ethics, preventing discrimination, encouraging the involvement of external bodies in quality assurance
  • the continuous improvement of learning and teaching, research, and innovation
  • quality assurance of study programs and their compliance with the standards of ADIP
  • the efficient organization of services and the development and maintenance of infrastructure
  • the availability and effective management of the necessary resources for the operation of the University
  • the effective development and distribution of human resources.
