The University Gym of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki provides students and personnel with a wide range of sports programmes and activities that aim to improve the quality of life of all members of the academic community through sports, games and physical activities.

University Student Club

The University Student Club was founded in 1959 and has been operating continuously since then providing its services to AUTH students. Its objectives are the provision of daily quality nutrition, the improvement of living conditions, entertainment and the promotion of the social and spiritual education of our students.

Student Halls of Residence

Student Halls of Residence accommodate approximately 1,500 students, who are provided with a full array of amenities. Undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as PhD candidates, who come from large and/or low-income families, are entitled to accommodation.

The School of Modern Greek Language

The School of Modern Greek Language of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has been offering courses in Greek language and culture to foreigners and Greeks from abroad since 1970. The School also offers tailor-made courses for specific purposes and seminars for teachers of Greek.

Τhe Centre for Foreign Language Teaching

Τhe Centre for Foreign Language Teaching is an Academic Unit of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and offers courses in Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP). The main languages taught are English, German, French, Italian, Turkish and Russian. Courses offered by the Centre are designed to match the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe (CEFR). The Centre aims to help students acquire the appropriate language skills for their academic studies.

The Central Library

The Central Library is situated at the heart of the University Campus, across the Thessaloniki International Fair and between the Administration Building and the School of Engineering. It expands in two buildings: the old building, housing the administrative services and the student study room, and the adjacent new building, housing the research study room and the Loan & Interlibrary Loan Service.

The Counseling and Psychological Support Center (KE.SY.PS.Y.)

The Counseling and Psychological Support Center (KE.SY.PS.Y.) is a service operating since 1999. It provides the students of Aristotle University free counseling and psychological support services on issues that concern them, such as: anxiety, stress, difficulties in adapting to a new environment or in studies, family/personal difficulties, sexual issues, psychosomatic problems, as well as in issues related to their academic and daily life. Advice and training seminars are also provided to faculty members and administrative staff on issues of concern to students.

The unified Library of the Faculty

The unified Library of the Faculty aims to better serve the educational and research needs of its Schools. Its collection contains more than 30.000 volumes of books and 170 journal titles, (75 active). Its collection specializes in economics and political sciences, but also includes material in related disciplines, such as Philosophy, Religion, History, Social Sciences, Communication and Mass Media, and Law.

Career Office

TS main goal is to provide its services to students and graduates of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in order to facilitate their successful transition from the university to the work environment and help them search for a job which corresponds to their qualifications, skills and the experience they have gained, providing them with the necessary information about further education and job opportunities.

The IT Center of AUTH

The IT Center of AUTH is responsible for all network and computing infrastructure, the electronic services of the university, as well as the support of university users. Its activities cover the planning, development, procurement, management, security and maintenance of these ICT resources.

MO.DI.P

MO.DI.P is an advisory body for the administration of the University which, through the coordination of internal and external evaluation procedures of the academic units and the Institution. It gathers valuable information regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the university and recommends improvements and changes to ensure the provision of high quality services to students, staff, and the society.

The Department of European Educational Programmes

The Department of European Educational Programmes promotes bilateral agreements between the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and other institutions within the framework of European educational programmes: Erasmus+, Erasmus+ International, Erasmus MUNDUS (for Studies & Traineeship, mobility of Academic and Administrative Staff).
